How is this not all over the Internet as one of the best things to do on the island, especially the North part?! We accidentally found the Sunset Lanai on a sort of random Google search and it has been my favorite thing we did on our trip. Gorgeous venue with an incredible view, comfy couches oh and did I mention an amazing band singing traditional Hawaiian music? What!? For free!?! Get out. The band is amazing, drinks were yummy, view gorgeous, vibe… Paradise. Do yourself a favor and slow down and enjoy this.

My family had a birthday party for me at the Sunset Lanai. All was perfect – the ambiance and outdoor seating was great- comfortable couches and live music, full bar and good food. The staff was fabulous to work with. They made things super easy, and everybody had a great time! We didn’t want the party to end! We will for sure host another event at the Sunset Lanai in Kilauea, loved it!
